CCTV reported on Dubai's 700 MW solar thermal and 250 MW photovoltaic solar power plant project

In March 7th, the Belt and Road initiative and 700 megawatt photovoltaic and 250 MW photovoltaic power station projects in Dubai were launched. The 13 live news broadcast rooms, 

central video APP and CCTV Arabic Channel were also listed.

It is reported that at present, the photovoltaic part of the project has realized commercial operation and began to transmit electric energy to all parts of Dubai. The tower unit is in

 the peak period of commissioning and is expected to achieve commercial operation this summer; Trough type unit 1 is expected to realize grid connected power generation this year; 

Trough type units 2 and 3 are in the peak period of installation.

The project is by far the largest solar power project in the world. One belt, one road project, is a key project of China's "the Belt and Road" project, and is also a landmark project in 

the Middle East market, which is jointly invested by Dubai electric power and Water Bureau DEWA, China Silk Road Fund, Saudi international power and water group, and ACWA Power

 and Shanghai electric as EPC general contractor.
